FACTS ABOUT BAREFOOT SHOES FOR HIKING REVEALED

New to barefoot shoes. We reside in Montana in which it may get to -20 or decrease. Any recommendations on boots? Am I right in wondering you would have to have the thick boot to shield from the intense chilly? Look for boots with a broad toe box probably?
